  1. I am trying to avoid back surgery which my doctor just suggested! I am learning so much about the body and trying to find ways to avoid pain medicine. Thank you for this!

    1. Christine~ I highly suggest that you ask for second opinions and even get in touch with Dr. Caleb before you go under the knife. He has great posts on mobility, and like we mentioned in the podcast– the Science of pain. Wishing you a painless journey into healing your back. Have you read my story on back pain?

  5. This is interesting to me. One of my grown sons had a consistent pain from an injury he received. It would be nice for him to be able to pinpoint ways to troubleshoot and get rid of it. I don’t usually share blog links with him (it’s not ‘his thing’) but after reading some of your comments here too, I think I’m going to pass it along.

    1. Thank you! I am glad you found the podcast relevant. Pain can create fear and of course stop someone from getting back into the dynamics of exercising. However, it is important that your son works with a trained PT and find out the best option for him. Thanks so much for sharing it with him.
