Today’s Healing Juice–
Most of these vegetables are from my garden. This juice combination is with a purpose. I am a feeling a flare up coming (herniated disk) if you don’t know pain..this is it. So, I’ve been drinking my golden milk. And today made this alkalinizing anti-inflammatory juice. Ginger was a must in order to help me reduce the inflammation.
Leafy greens aid the lymphatic system do its job which is to move toxins out which in turn help reduce pain.
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a juice so here’s today’s yummy concoction.
- Ingredients:
- Cucumber
- Carrots
- tomato
- Lettuce
- Kale
- Mango
- Ginger
- Radish.
Based on past experiences and advised by my back pain management Doctor, this time I had to get a potent muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory in order to avoid a visit to the ER. As you can imagine I absolutely dislike taking medication but it is what it is.
My plan is to continue to go strong with an anti-inflammatory diet, golden milk (turmeric, pepper, coconut oil). It is great for its anti-inflammatory properties plus it wards off other diseases.
I also like to supplement with my natural muscle relaxers (Valerian, and chamomile) so I can stop the synthetic version ASAP.
This juice, of course, can help anyone dealing with any type of pain or injury, while nourishing your body.
