In honor of Mother’s Day, I wanted to dedicate this post to all of my amazing and courageous Mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, pet mothers everywhere. However, this post is dedicated to my lovely Mother.

We are so blessed to have her in our lives, despite her fragile health right now! Thanks to her tenacity, dedication, love and nurturing ways we are, who we are today.  Thanks for showing us how to be kind, and to love and care for all human beings unconditionally.
Te Amo Mama!

To My Dearest Mother

My mother is a special part
Of all that’s cherished in my heart,
She is my pearl, my soul, my mate;
She is the one to make life great.
She is an angel without the wings,
Who makes life special with the littlest things,
Whenever I’m in need of love,
She is there from the heavens above;
Whenever I’m in need of a shoulder,
There’s no one as devoted as my mother.

Her presence and love have always been there,
Everything in her nature is to only care.
With every soft hug and kiss
The world seems more beautiful and blessed.

I’m sorry for all the times I caused you pain,
But after these brief storms, my love still remains.
I love you so much,
I will love you forever-
I wrote your name on my heart
And it will stay there forever, and ever…

About Astrid

I was once stuck in my own health struggles, and I found my way out by going back to the root cause instead of chasing symptoms. I'm the founder of healYOUnaturally.com and my podcast, a holistic wellness educator with 18+ years of experience covering everything from gut health and hormones to chronic conditions like diabetes, sleep, and stress. My own recovery from GERD, ulcers, and H. pylori led me to build the ROOTS Protocol, my signature framework for root-cause healing, now the foundation of my Heal GERD and Gut Disorders Holistically Academy. I'm also a digital course creator, and I share natural, research-backed approaches to whatever I'm writing about, every week.
